Donald R. Barnette

Donald Rogers Barnette, 89, passed away February 3, 2021.

A native of Laurens County, son of the late T.E. and Anne Rogers Barnett, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of J.P. Stevens and a member of Northwood Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Ila Elizabeth Campbell Barnette of Greer and a son, Barry Barnette (Betty) of Taylors.

Mr. Barnette was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy Barnett and Theron Barnett.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, conducted by Dr. Gary Rogers and Rev. Larry Armstrong.

Visitation will be held after the service at the cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northwood Baptist Church, 888 Ansel School Road, Greer, South Carolina 29651.
