Ernestine “Tina” Lynn Kennette, 92, widow of Wade Hundley Kennette, passed away March 22, 2018.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Samuel Dickson and Bertie Mae Beacham Lynn, she was a retired educator for Greenville County Schools, a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and an avid bridge player.

Surviving are two sons, Samuel Dickson Kennette (Nancy), of Bellevue, Idaho and Stephen Wade Kennette (Dixie), of Lyman; a daughter, Elizabeth Kennette Fowler (James, Sr.), of Lyman; six grandchildren, Corrie Kennette, Stephen Kennette, Jr., James Fowler, Jr. (Ashley), Jami Burnette (Dan), Jeremiah Symons and Zackary Symons; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan Fowler, Noah Fowler and Jada Burnette.

Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Memorial United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Joe Cate.  Burial followed in Wood Memorial Park.

Honorary escort was the Wesley Davenport Sunday School Class.

Visitation was held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church social hall.

The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Dixie Kennette.
