Frances D. Joyal

Frances Dunlap Joyal, 78, widow of David Armond Joyal, Sr., passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care.

A native of York County, she was a daughter of the late Elliott Crook and Bessie Sexton Dunlap; a retired employee of Springmasters and of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Terry Joyal Miller of Inman and Robin Joyal of Spartanburg; one son, David A. Joyal, Jr. of Duncan; one brother, Crawford Dunlap of Lyman; two sisters, Bonnie Gray and Faye Wyatt, both of Greer; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens conducted by Rev. Ernest Barr.

Pallbearers were Randy Leonard, Jr., Payton Leonard, Larry Finch, Timothy Miller, Tim Miller and Jason Hanna.

Visitation was held 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at their respective homes.
