Gwendolyn Sudduth Oliver, 93, widow of Waymes Oliver, of 25 Oliver Street, died Aug. 14, 2015 at the home of her daughter.

A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late George Furman and Lola Peahuff Sudduth, a retired employee of J.P. Stevens & Co., Apalache Mill; and was of the baptist faith.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Leland and Nancy Oliver of Lyman and Leonard and Linda Oliver of Taylors; two daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Mike Kissiah of Campbello and Michelle and Joseph Buchanan of Simpsonville; two brothers, Andrew Sudduth of Woodruff and Floyd Sudduth of Wellford; two sisters, Lucille Peace of Greer and Lois Wilder of Greenville; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by a granddaughter, Lisa Oliver; three brothers, Rhett. Clifford and Darwin Sudduth and one sister, Mildred Rushton.

Graveside services were held 3 p.m. Monday at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Robert Cox.

Visitation was held from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of a daughter, Martha Kissiah, 2654 Mount Lebanon Road, Campobello, SC 29322.

The family wishes to thank Anita Robinson for being a great nurse and a special friend.
