With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Harold Allen McFeely, Jr., 78, of Taylors, who passed away on January 30, 2020 at his home.

Harold died after a long fight with Alzheimers, with his beloved wife and family at his side.

A celebration of his life was held Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Cross Plains Baptist Church.

Visitation was at the Church from 1:30-2:15 p.m. with services beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Harold was born September 4, 1941 in Macon, Georgia, and was the son of the late Harold and Allyne McFeely. He graduated from Greer High School, Pfieffer College and served in the USMC, rising to the rank of Lance Corporal and earned honors for marksmanship.

He along with his wife, Sharon, were the owner/operators of McFeely Amusements. He was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church. He had a passion for magic and the circus.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Sharon Poole McFeely of the home; two sons, Hal McFeely (Joy) and Chris McFeely; one step-son, Jeffrey Anderson; one beloved nephew, Justin Pace; and four grandchildren, Sarah, Maxx McFeely, Alexa and Gavin Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Cross Plains Baptist Church, 1305 Chinquapin Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690 or Alzheimer’s Association, 123 West Antrim Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
