Lt. Col. (Ret.) James Robert (Bob) Cox, Jr., 73, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane Stribling Cox; two children, daughter Leisa Cox Urban (Brian) and son James R. (Jamey) Cox, III (Bobbie); and four grandchildren. He retired from the Air Force in 2003 after 29 years of distinguished service.
He was honored with a service at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 1 p.m. The family received friends following the service at the Cedar Cove Clubhouse on Willowood Parkway, Chapin.
Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
