Jeremy Obadiah Terrel Smith, 40, of 298 Fernwood Drive, died Dec. 16 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late Jason Smith and Brenda Dill Edwards, he was an employee of Honeywell, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Wendy Kirby Smith of the home; three daughters, Whitney Jackson, Gracie Smith and Laynie Smith all of the home; one son, Tug Smith of the home; four brothers, Joshua Smith of Greer, Wendell Smith of Austin, Texas, Clinton Smith of Taylors and Jamey Edwards of Greer; one sister, Jodi Smith Mincey (Keith) of Taylors; step-parents, David and Rene Edwards of Taylors; Uncle Steve Smith; four nephews and one niece.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Saturday at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Smith and Rev. Keith Mincey. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation was held 1-2:45 p.m. Saturday at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.
The family is at the home of the sister, Jodi Mincey, 118 West McElhaney Road, Taylors, SC 29687.
