Kenneth Alan Baker, 69, passed away April 7, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.
A native of Southend-On-Sea, England, he was the son of Joyce Evelyn Wright Baker of Bedminster, New Jersey and the late Alan Frank Baker. A builder, draftsman, engineer, traveler and painter, he was also the founder of Kab Tech, and an active member of his church. Ken committed many fine works to canvas, but his greatest masterpiece and legacy is the adoring family he leaves behind.
He is survived by his wife, Marijke Schepers Baker of the home; four daughters, Erika Baker Counts of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Schelyn Baker Flippin of Spartanburg, Danielle Baker Gibbs of Greenville and Nancy Baker Fisher of Greer; one son, K. Thomas Baker of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Ruth Baker of England and Ann Lange of Germany; and fourteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Andy Lewis and Rev. Curtis DuBose.  Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held between 1 and 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church, Global Mission Fund, 207 Mitchell Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
