Lee Edward Burnette, 94, widower of Nell Mosteller Burnette, died January 30, 2016.

A native of Greer, son of the late Jerry C. and Mamie Hempley Burnette, he was a retired employee of Homelite and Lyman Printing and Finishing, a US Army WWII Veteran and a member of Zoar United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen Paese (Al) of Bandung, Indonesia and Sheila Davidson of Taylors; one brother, Troy Burnette of Greer and three grandchildren, Danielle Paese Little (Daniel), Julianna Paese and Meredith Davidson.

Mr. Burnette was predeceased by one son-in-law, Bill Davidson; three brothers, Earl Burnette, Lewis Burnette and Marshall Burnette and two sisters, Willie Mae Frady and Velma Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Robert Cox and Dr. Drew Hines.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Larry Burnette, Lonnie Farmer, Marion Paris, Larry Paris, Mark Cramer and Wayne Frady.

Honorary escort will be the Sunday school class and the United Methodist Men.

Visitation will be held 2-3:15 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
