Nesbitt Allen

James Nesbitt Allen, 72, passed away Monday, Feb. 1. He was the son of the late James Jesse Allen and Rosie Howard Shelnutt and the widower of Lettie Hawkins Allen. He was a member of Glassy Mountain Baptist Church.   

Survivors include two daughters, Revonda Allen Tucker and Anita Allen Wilson, both of Landrum; a brother, Randall Allen; two sisters, Azalee A. Hawkins and Deborah S. Whitman; four grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Heather Hannon, Amber Tucker and Jarrid Wilson; three great grandchildren, Kaylee Hannon, Corbin Smith and Kaden Tucker. He was predeceased by a brother, Manuel Allen.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at Glassy Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Dodd officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. Interment will be at Glassy Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
