Otheda Spivey, 86, passed away on August 7, 2017 at Magnolia Place.
A native of Douglas, Georgia, daughter of the late J. Frank and Hazel Peacock Spivey, she was a homemaker, was of the Church of God faith and a big Atlanta Braves fan.
Surviving are one daughter, Beth Jancse (Jay) of Greer; two sons, Bart Koonse of Austin, Texas and Brett Koonse of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; one sister, Lynita Spivey of Savannah, Georgia; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of the daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Jay Jancse.
