Ralph T. Wade
Ralph Thomas Wade, 86, widower of Ollie Ann Hammett Wade, passed away December 22, 2020 at his home.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Moss and Agnes Wade, he was a retired machinist at Exide Battery and a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Thomas L. Wade, Tim Wade, Brian Wade (Deana) and Wilkey Wade all of Lyman; one sister, Sarah Wade Black of Greer; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wade was predeceased by seven brothers, Milton Wade, Lewis Wade, Roy Wade, Broadus Wade, Robert Wade, J.B. Wade and Charles Wade; four sisters, Shirley Pearson, Catherine Snow, Ruth Pearson and Betty Vaughn.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Pastor Todd Stewart and Pastor Joe Mosely. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
The body had lain in repose 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary, and the family greeted friends following the committal at the cemetery.
