Troy B. Cooper

Troy B. Cooper, 81, loving husband to the late Mamie Louise Bailey Cooper passed away March 21, 2016, at his home.

He was a native of Spartanburg, son of the late Bee and Marie Massengale Cooper, an entrepreneur of many business in Greer and Greenville, an active church goer and what he loved most of all, fishing.  

Troy was a loving father to his children: Wanda Cooper Ferguson, Joyce Cooper Cozzi, and Stephen Cooper; a caring grandfather to four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is survived by his brothers, Earl Cooper and Cary Cooper.

He was predeceased by his wife, as well as his beloved son, Marvin Timothy Cooper.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday  at Praise Cathedral, 3390 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, by Rev. Jerry Madden and Rev. Bobby Johnson.  Burial will immediately follow at Wood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 1-1:45p.m. Thursday at the church.

The family request attendees to wear bright and beautiful colors to honor Troy’s love of nature and beautiful flowers.
