A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Moss and Agnes Wade, he was a retired machinist at Exide Battery and a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church.

Margaret Gertrude Harley, 75, of 3651 Highway 357, Inman, passed away Thursday, December 24th, at Greenvillle Memorial Hospital.

Margaret was born in Inman on April 11, 1945, a daughter of the late Wilmoth Foster Bishop and Charlie Bishop, and was the widow of Lonnie G Harley who died in 1997.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Carl James Horton and Mildred Duncan Pitts, he was a retired employee of Chemgard and a member of Tucapau Baptist Church. Mr. Horton was a devoted Christian, husband, father, son, and “Poppi” to his two grandchildren.

Daughter of the late William Cordy Abbott and Lettie Delight Kinlaw Abbott, she is survived by her husband of 69 years, Charles Davenport and three children, Ron Davenport (Mia), Tim Davenport, and Tricia Alford.
