Mother arrested after beating 13-year-old

A woman was arrested last week after authorities say she struck her 13-year-old daughter in the back and head with both her hands and a hair straightening iron. Police say the two got into an argument about a cell phone. Gladis Trujillo has been charged with unlawful neglect of a child.
