The Greer Police Department took part in games and fun with the community at six separate locations to celebrate National Night Out last Tuesday.
David William Congdon, 67, of Dill Road in Landrum, is dead after an all-terrain vehicle collision.
The accident occurred on Friday afternoon around 2 p.m. at his residence on Dill Road.
Congdon had been working on his property using an all-terrain vehicle when the vehicle crashed.
Two Greenville men were sentenced for several charges, including murder, in July.
Raymond Martinez, Jr., 31, and Robert Lee Belcher III, 29, were convicted last Thursday by a Greenville County jury of Murder, Armed Robbery, Burglary in the first degree, Possession of Weapon During Violent Crime, Criminal Conspiracy, and Petit Larceny.

Two additional arrests have been made in the homicide investigation of Toriano Harris, 19, of Taylors.
On July 6, Greenville County Sheriff’s office deputies located Harris shot to death in an alley off Smythe Avenue and Seyle Street in Greenville.
