Greer Police searching for suspect
The Greer Police Department is on the search for an individual regarding several thefts at multiple Hobby Lobby stores.
GPD is asking for locals’ assistance in identifying a white female who is currently a suspect in multiple theft investigations. The suspect in the surveillance photo is currently the only person of interest.
Suspect wrecks in Lyman
Joshua Nathan Koiyan, 23, of Charlotte is now in custody after wrecking in Lyman.
On the morning of Wednesday, August 31, around 10 a.m., deputies responded to an armed robbery at the Family Dollar at 460 Spring Street in the Arcadia community, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.

“I started volunteering at 15. They came to the school and recruited us, and I just fell in love with it,” Wells said. “I love the work that comes with it. I love helping people out.”
