A former Greer High teacher was arrested last week after police say she had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a male student last year.

A Campobello man received an 18-year prison sentence on Tuesday for sexually abusing a child.
Samuel S. Owens, 46, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and lewd act on a minor.
Each year, the Taylors Fire and Sewer District collects toys and monetary donations to purchase toys for local children to have for Christmas.
