Greer Police are still searching for two suspects they say robbed a Dollar General last Friday morning on South Suber Road.

According to Lt. Patrick Fortenberry, two males entered the business at around 8:45 a.m., selected some merchandise, then approached the register.

A man has been charged for attempted murder after holding two victims at gunpoint during an armed robbery.

On April 3, officers responded to East Bearden Street, where two victims stated that they had been robbed by two male suspects.

Two arrests have been made following the armed robbery of a Spinx gas station last Wednesday in Greer.

A Lowcountry state trooper has passed away after an extended illness.

L/Cpl. A. David Cook, who joined the Highway Patrol in 2011, had served primarily with Troop Six during his career before joining Troop Eight in 2017.

An Inman man will spend the next 25 years in prison after admitting to sneaking into his former workplace while the business was closed and trying to shoot a former co-worker.
