Registration is opening on May 14 for Springwell Church’s fifth annual Allstar Sports Camp to be held June 11-15 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The camp is for kids ages five through fifth grade.
When Kris Hamacek was laid off from her job as a designer in the textile industry about eight years ago, she never imagined how her career and life would change.
Struggling to make ends meet and determined to keep her children at Calvary Christian School in Greer, Hamacek went to the school to find a way she could work out tuition.

A community-wide prayer service will be held on this year’s National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 4, at First Presbyterian Church, 200 W. Washington Street, in downtown Greenville.

In this year’s Easter program, Springwell Church plans to answer that question at both its 9 a.m. service and 11 a.m. service on Sunday, April 16.
Egg hunt at Suber Road Baptist is April 13
Suber Road Baptist Church is inviting the community to its Easter Mommy and Me activity on Thursday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church’s outdoor pavilion.
There will be an Easter egg hunt and craft for children of all ages. Refreshments will be provided.
