The 18th annual Farmer Smith’s Cow Pie Classic returns to Blue Ridge on Aug. 19, and it will feature new events for local runners.

The meet’s primary event, the Tiger Trails 2 Miler, will now be joined by a 5K, and members of the public are invited to run with the high school team.
