Hard work paying off for Cerino

It has been a year of growth and hard work for Riverside senior quarterback Ryan Cerino, and he is hoping to see it pay off on the field this fall.

The team’s offensive leader has had to provide stability for the Warriors this summer, and head coach Phil Smith said Cerino will play a vital role on this year’s team.

Cami Lee Isbell, a 9 year old from Greenwood, got quite the surprise when she threw out the first pitch at the Greenville Drive game on Monday. After making the toss, she was greeted by her father (the catcher) Staff Sgt. Michael Isbell, who recently returned from duty in Afghanistan.
