EHS soccer team still perfect

The Eastside boys’ soccer team, which has been atop the Class AAA rankings all season, has yet to lose a game or even give up a goal in region play.

The undefeated Eagles blanked Berea and Travelers Rest in recent matches, inching toward a rivalry matchup with Riverside this week.

North Greenville’s men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams, Pfeiffer’s women’s basketball and Mount Olive’s men’s basketball were named ‘Team Sportsmanship Award’ winners following the recent completion of the winter season league championships.  

Byrnes hit a slump last week, falling to Mauldin and Gaffney. The Rebels were able to bounce back against Wade Hampton, picking up a win in extra innings.

BHS falls to 4-3 in region

The Byrnes baseball team struggled in conference play last week, falling to Mauldin and Gaffney before bouncing back against Wade Hampton.

The team now boats a 4-3 record in the region, which ranks them fourth among league opponents.

Byrnes began the week with a 8-0 loss to Mauldin.
