Blue Ridge’s Zach Waddell and Drew Skinner signed national letters of intent last week to continue their athletic careers at the next level.
Waddell, signing with Anderson, has been a four-year starter for the Tigers, playing in 96 games for Blue Ridge.

Some of the celebrities participating in this year’s BMW Charity Pro-Am tournament will trade in golf clubs for softball bats on Thursday, May 17, 7:30 p.m. at Fluor Field for the first All-Star Celebrity Softball Game.

Blue Ridge Tigers take region golf title
The Blue Ridge boys golf team won a region championship this week at the Links O’ Tryon, qualifying for the Upper State tournament next Monday at Southern Oaks.
