Representing Greer’s Boxing at the Depot, Hollis secured a second round stoppage after cornering his opponent and unleashing a barrage of punches early in the match.
With six underclassmen starters and a new head coach, the Blue Ridge softball team won’t have long to learn the ropes before being tested.
The Tigers, however, aren’t nervous about their new surroundings.
“Even though the team is young, the talent is absolutely there,” said coach Alecia Rhinehart.
The North Greenville baseball team split a double header with Belmont Abbey over the weekend, taking game one before falling in game two. Connor Grant had six hits and three RBI on the day while Ethan Garner received his third win of the season.
