Tigers face tough test against Chapman
The Tigers have had a tough slate of non-conference matchups to start the season.
Last week, Blue Ridge played host to Liberty Red Devils, who went three rounds deep into the playoffs in 2016.
This week, the Tigers will take on the defending Class AAA state champions in Chapman.
Champs reunite
The 1957 Greer American Legion Post 115 team reunited at the Greer Country Club last Friday. The team won the state title that year, and made plenty of memories along the way.
Tigers fight back for win at Riverside
The Fighting Tigers earned their name last Thursday.
Blue Ridge rallied from a 27-7 deficit to top Riverside 28-27, improving to 2-1 on the season.
Quarterback Jake Smith punched in a 1-yard run to give his team its final touchdown, and Tyree Cofield added the two-point conversion to seal the deal at The Reservation.

Gravely’s field goal wins it for Crusaders
North Greenville’s Matt Gravely kicked a go-ahead field goal in the final seconds of last week’s game against Tusculum College to give the Crusaders a 34-33 win.
North Greenville is now 3-0 in Thursday night home openers, dating back to 2013.
