The Warriors picked up a nice win on the road in Week 0, but there is little time to celebrate with rival Eastside coming to town on Friday.
Both teams are 1-0, and Riverside is looking to exact some revenge after a loss in 2016.
Greer High Accepting Hall of Fame nods
The Greer High Booster Club is accepting nominations for induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame.
The Eastside football team made short work of Woodmont during its home opener last Friday night.

Greer’s 2017 football team has come full circle in three weeks to kick off the season against 5-A powerhouse Westside on Friday night in Anderson.
The Blue Ridge Tigers will open their 2017 campaign at home this Friday against a team that went 11-2 last fall.
Belton-Honea Path hasn’t given up a point during the preseason, which is cause for concern for Blue Ridge head coach Shane Clark.
The Byrnes football team will open its season at home this Friday against Myrtle Beach, a team that topped the Rebels in 2016.
Under new head coach Reggie Shaw, Byrnes is hoping for a return to form this fall, coming off a season that did not yield a playoff appearance for the first time in more than a decade.
