The Byrnes softball team will play for a district championship Wednesday, after topping Nation Ford (7-1) and Laurens (2-1) in the first two rounds of playoff action.
The No. 1 seed Riverside baseball team was ousted by Westside this week, falling 9-1 in the District Championship.
The Warriors fell to Westside (7-6) in the opening round and were forced to fight their way back to have a shot at advancing to Upper State.
