The Yellow Jacket baseball team struggled last week, falling in back-to-back games against Wade Hampton.
“We played 6 really good innings.” head coach Matt Landreth said of game one, where Greer fell 9-4. “It was a back-and-forth game, and we dug ourselves into a hole that last inning and couldn’t get out of it.
The Eagles were locked in last week, securing two wins over non-region foe Greenville.
Head coach Scott Erwin said his team’s pitching was strong during the 3-0 and 3-2 victories.

After spending last week on press row in my first Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament, I marvel at all I saw and the many ideas going through my head as we go full speed ahead into March Madness this week.
