Two arrested for attempted murder near Hudson Road
Douglas Daguan Mcgreer-Norris, 21, of Greenville, and Izaiah Armand Puckett, 19, of Fountain Inn, have been arrested in connection to the attempted murder that occurred on March 6 near Hudson Road and St. Augustine Dr. in Greenville near Taylors.

Man arrested on child sex abuse material charges
John Joseph Varn, 32, of Greenville, has been arrested on five charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors.
Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest, and investigators with the Attorney General’s Office assisted with the investigation.
Vargas receives 20 year setence
Agustin Vargas, 51, of Spartanburg, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually abusing a child.
On March 24, Vargas pleaded guilty to Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor in the second degree. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison and will be placed on the sex offender registry.

GCSO makes arrest
Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit have made an arrest in reference to the shooting and death investigation that occurred last Tuesday evening, March 26.
The shooting took place at 6309 Augusta Road.
