I’m gonna go ahead and say you should probably skip my column this week.
What’s coming is something nobody wanted or asked for.

Greer has the interesting problem of being the place that everybody wants to live and work, but nobody wants to claim.
I’ve noticed this, having spent more than a decade of my life here.

Some of us, however, become famous overnight.
You guys probably already heard, but I was recently pictured on the giant Jumbotron at Truist Park in Atlanta with my 2-year-old daughter.
My firstborn will be four this week, and she wants money for her birthday.
Not Paw Patrol toys. Not candy or ice cream.
She wants “green money.”
Penny has been obsessed with coins since she learned she can redeem them for useless junk at the entrance to Ingles.
It doesn’t matter what comes out of that machine.
I remember being on the sidelines in 2014 when Emmanuel Jackson scored the game winning points for Riverside, topping Boiling Springs.
I was standing next to Greg Miller, who was the basketball coach at the time. The crowd was on edge, but there was a sudden roar when Ryan Cerino found Jackson on the short route.
It was not a good weekend for some beloved ACC teams.
I’ll start with Clemson because I’m not ready to talk about my Tar Heels yet.
