Folks in the community got a taste of what life would be like with driverless vehicles last week.

Greer Memorial and the Cottages at Brushy Creek participated in testing of Induct’s Navia electric driverless shuttle last Friday, cruising around at 12 mph with no one at the helm.

Cabela's to open in April

Cabela’s Inc., a hunting, fishing and outdoor store based in Nebraska, is expected to create more than 200 jobs when it opens its Greenville location on April 3.

The 100,000-square-foot store is Cabela’s first South Carolina location and will be located in Magnolia Park.
