In response to the Sept. 3 editorial
To the editor,

Hold out for the best deal
To the editor,

Taxpayers in Spartanburg County School District Five can hold out for a better deal by holding out for less grandeur in the Byrnes expansion.
Protecting South Carolina’s veterans
The brave men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform deserve our honor and our kept promises. South Carolina’s 400,000 veterans rely on the services provided by the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston and the 11 community-based outpatient facilities across the state.
Stand up for what you believe
“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”
Historic landscapes sought
The Greer Council of Garden Clubs (Azalea, Camellia and Primrose) is participating in “Historic Trees for Historic Places,” which is the major project of The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc.
The Greer Council is asking for help from the Greer public to find and document significant trees and historic places in and around Greer.
