Along with the masses, I too gathered with friends around a TV to watch, what I’m led to believe to be, the worst Super Bowl game since 1967. Read Psalm 31:19-24
Be still and know that I am God. -Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

Has not God chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith and to be heirs to the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him? -James 2:5 (NRSV)
Read John 10:2-4
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath lain on him the iniquity of us all. -Isaiah 53:6 (KJV)

Read Psalm 32:1-7
When I kept silent, my bones wasted away…Then I acknowledged my sins to you…and you forgave the guilt of my sin.
-Psalm 32:3, 5 (NIV)
