holding arts showcase
Chandler Creek Elementary will hold a music and art showcase on Thursday, May 4, 5:30-7 p.m.
The chorus along with the third grade will perform a special concert. Artwork from all grade levels will be featured.
Greenville County Schools and Spartanburg District Five have announced details for 2023 high school graduation ceremonies to be held at the end of this month.
All traditional GCS schools will graduate at either Bon Secours Wellness Arena or Furman University May 30-June 1.

The Wellford Police Department (WPD) donated 2,500 Easter eggs to two local churches and an elementary school after the Wellford Community Easter Egg Hunt and Autism Awareness Day event got washed out.
The family event was planned for Sunday, April 2, but was canceled due to rain.
North Greenville University’s (NGU) Grace Myers was recognized by the South Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (SCPRSA) as the 2022 Public Relations Student of the Year.
She was recognized on Wednesday at the Mercury Awards Ceremony and Professional Development Conference held in Columbia.
