The NACAC College Fair will be at Timmons Arena at Furman University March 15 from 5-8 pm.
Eighty-three students from the Greer Middle College Charter High Beta Club competed at the SC State Beta Club Convention in Myrtle Beach recently.
The students competed in 29 events between academic competitions, onsite and offsite visual arts competitions, skits and robotics, winning 14 awards.
Tigerville Elementary fifth graders practiced etiquette during the school’s annual Manners Luncheon on Feb.
Senior Hannah Perry was crowned Miss LeFlambeau at Greer High Saturday night. Other winners were: Freshman Beauty - Ella Kate Brannon, Sophomore Beauty - Carson Hannon, Junior Beauties - Hannah Bowens and Savanna Fore’, and Senior Beauties - Alexis Anderson, Katie Larke, Kira Reed and Addy Raines.
North Greenville University recently announced that Dr. Nathan A. Finn will become the university’s chief academic officer on June 1, with the title of provost and dean of the university faculty.
Greer High art students receive awards
Several Greer High art students have received 2018 Scholastic Art Awards for the Southeastern US Region.

Furman University and the Center for Inclusive Communities (CIC) announce a slate of talks, films, music and other events in celebration of Black History Month.
All events are free and open to the public. Many events are part of Furman’s Cultural Life Program (CLP) and are so noted. Events include:
