Tri-County Technical College and North Greenville University officials signed a first-of-its-kind agreement last week that enables the transfer of Tri-County students to NGU’s Educational Studies online bachelor’s degree program.
Lowcountry Connections Academy, a tuition-free online public school based in Summerville, has opened enrollment for the 2023-24 school year for students across the state.
The Riverside High Speech and Debate team won its 12th consecutive state championship at Newberry College recently.
In addition to winning the 2023 Overall Sweepstakes Championship and the AAAA championship, Riverside also won nine individual titles and four top novice awards.
Abigail Busha was crowned Miss Sakamow at Riverside High recently. Additional winners included: Kaylie Fussell, Miss Freshman; Sydney Jordan, Miss Sophomore; Sydni Ruff, Miss Junior; and Loren Long, Miss Senior.

Greer High Spirit Week raised $23,300 for Greer Relief recently.
Bonds Career Center Architectural and Mechanical Drafting Design students demonstrated their program during the center’s Spring Showcase on Thursday. Bonds offers 12 different programs of study. Bonds will accept applications for the 2023-2024 school year through March 16.
Abby Dill was chosen at Miss Le Flambeau 2023 at Greer High recently. Class winners included: senior beauties Brianna Albano, Anna Claire Littlefield, Summer Haney, and Rylee Powell; junior beauties Payton Crook and Diana Cruz; sophomore beauty Madison Harbin; and freshman beauty Penelope Poole.

Silver Key Award
Riverside High senior Iris Claire Stefanich won the Silver Key Award in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards 100th Year Program for her Art Portfolio entitled “Freed Up Faces.”
