School board chooses lottery for school choice

The song goes, ‘No more pencils, no more books,’ but it’s no more lines for Greenville County Schools.
The board of trustees recently voted to replace the first-come first-serve process in favor of a computer generated lottery system in school choice. It’s in effect for the 2014-15 school year.
