Jeff Anderson, 1992 Byrnes High School graduate and national recording artist, returned to Greer last Saturday (Nov. 2).
During a Meet and Greet at his father’s karate school, Anderson played a few songs from his new CD to be released Nov. 22, along with the music video for the song, “It Is What It Is.”
Stomping Grounds Coffee House and Wine Bar will host Katie Cruice Smith at a Meet The Author event on Saturday, Nov. 9, 10 a.m.-noon.
The author of “Why Did You Choose Me?” will participate in a kids story time and giveaway.

The Greenville County Library System is calling for submissions for a Local Author Expo to be held at the Hughes Main Library on Jan. 25, 2020.
Submissions are due by Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019.
Requirements include:
• Must be a published (including self-published) author living in the southeastern United States.
The Bob Jones University Classic Players will present Great Expectations Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Rodeheaver Auditorium. This adaption of Charles Dicken’s Victorian era novel follows the rags to riches story of an orphan boy who inherits a mysterious fortune.
