Life is a miracle.
Every conception is a gift from God and a new life to welcome into world, to cherish and to teach.
Life begins at conception.
Every child is unique with its own features, personality and characteristics beginning even before birth.
Children, though challenging, are a great blessing.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
In every circumstance, we can rest secure by trusting in the Lord rather than fearing man or leaning on our own understanding.
Life will never be easy, but we who know the Creator will have eternal life.
A group of us ladies at church are reading through the Bible together.
We recently read Luke 12, and I was greatly encouraged by the passage, remembering where our treasure lies.
Verses 4-7 says, “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.
Jesus says in Matthew 7:24-27, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
On the last Sunday of 2020, one of our elders delivered a message on 1 Timothy 2:1-8 with urgency.
To be honest, I had settled for what seemed inevitable.
Yet power belongs to the Lord God Almighty, who has worked many miracles in the past on behalf of His children.
So now, I am praying for a miracle.
As 2020 concludes and 2021 begins, let us reflect on lessons learned, so we can move forward into a new year with renewed vigor, remembering what we have been through together. We have survived a worldwide pandemic with history in the making as a vaccine is already being distributed, but many have lost loved ones.
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be registered, each to his own town.
I like having a birthday near the Christmas holiday.
All of the lights, decorations and celebrations fill the air with a festive feel everywhere we go.
Friday night, my husband Brad and I went out for a nice dinner.
This year has been challenging for most of us in one way or another.
Right now, I would just like to reflect on what I thank God for in my life, starting with the free gift of eternal life purchased through Jesus Christ.
No matter what the coming years bring, my citizenship is in heaven.
