Byrnes opens new $25 million addition

Students moved into the new 96,000-square-foot addition at Byrnes High School this week, marking the completion of a nearly two-year project.
The structure, which cost the district more than $25 million, houses 36 new classrooms/science labs, a courtyard and a new ROTC wing, connecting seamlessly to the original building.
