The District Five Schools of Spartanburg County board continues to move forward with plans for a new Byrnes High building.

The board most recently voted 8-0 to approve a resolution that will allow a referendum to go to voters on Sept. 9, allowing the board to borrow up to $71 million in general obligations bonds to cover the project.
