The Greer Police Department welcomed its newest members this week.

Brought over from the Czech Republic, Boss and Stryker, two German Shepherds that will lead Greer’s K9 program, began training with local officers on Sunday and will soon be put into action.

The cast of Disney’s ‘Mulan Jr.’ was made up of Spartanburg District Five fifth and sixth graders from Beech Springs Intermediate School.

Sled hockey comes to Taylors

Hockey enthusiasts with disabilities recently tested their skills at the sport during a sled hockey clinic at The Pavilion in Taylors.

The clinic, put on by Greenville Health System’s (GHS) Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital, was the third one of its kind. The fourth and last clinic will be held March 3, also at The Pavilion.
