Community members and officials braved the rainy weather and gathered under a tent for the dedication of the Startex Bridge in honor of the late Fitzhugh D. Powers on Thursday.
A Spartanburg County native, Powers was a Constable for Startex Mills and Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
