This year’s Watermelon Festival in Duncan will feature not only watermelon eating and seed spitting contests but the debut of an ice cream eating contest, as well as their first ever Watermelon Parade to kickstart a day of summer festivities.

Fireworks. Watermelon. And family. All three important factors for the Town of Duncan when celebrating summertime with their largest annual event that draws thousands to the area.

The 4th annual Watermelon Fest will take place this Saturday, June 29, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Duncan Event Center, located at 119 S. Spencer St.
