Wellford will increase pay for officials

The City of Wellford is increasing the annual salaries of the mayor and council.
Council approved the first reading of Ordinance No. 2022-0503 last week (May 3) to increase the mayor’s salary from $20,050 to $21,250 and council salaries from $2,400 to $3,600.
