Lyman receives unmodified opinion

The Town of Lyman received an unmodified opinion with reasonable financial condition during a recent audit.

David G. Phillips, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Greene Finney, presented the audit report to Lyman Town Council on Monday night.

“It is really the best opinion you can get,” Phillips said.

Blue Ridge baseball coach Travis Henson hosted a Strike Out Cancer game in March following his fight with the disease.

Coaches battle Cancer

Those are the words of longtime Greer High School coach Travis Perry, who began his battle with bile duct cancer earlier this summer.

Two new retail stores have opened at the Piedmont Marketplace on Wade Hampton Boulevard.

Five Below, which opened on May 29, and Ulta Beauty (June 22) are now accepting customers beside Kohls department store in Greer.
