The Greer community is continuing to rally around the family of an injured runner, who has been hospitalized for more than a month.

Local golf enthusiasts and volunteers pitched in to help raise money for Greer Community Ministries (GCM) at Greer Country Club last Friday.

Molly Spearman does not have all the answers, she said, but she wants what’s best for South Carolina. 

There are four weeks left in this year’s legislative session, and the race is on to get legislation to the governor’s desk.

Don Jordan does not want to be superintendent, but the longtime calculus professor does not want to sit idly by.

The Marines of Greenville will host a meet and greet for local high school students on Saturday at 9 a.m. at 200 Patewood Drive.

The event is part of an effort to reach rising seniors, according to Marine Gunnery Sgt. Peter Lyons.

Despite the cold weather dampening last year’s Pelham Medical Center Greer Family Fest, thousands made their way downtown last weekend for this year’s event to engage in games, create crafts, feast on food and enjoy the entertainment.
