Megan Tenice Johnson, 19, of 108 Irving Street, died Jan. 11 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Greenville County, she was the daughter of John Tucker and the late Angelia Denise "Big Bird" Johnson.

Dale W. Hart

Dale Wingo Hart, 56, of 2 Gallivan Street, Greer, widow of Robert Hart, died Jan. 12, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Milford Sinclair and Margaret Bennett Wingo, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Sally B. Flippen

Sally Bass Flippen, 72, widow of Robert Raymond Flippen, died Jan. 11, 2009 at her home.

A native of Earle, Ark., daughter of the late Clyde Bass and Myrtle May Davidson Miller, she was a retired employee of Piedmont Living Center and of the Baptist faith.

Ben C. Dacus

Ben Carlton Dacus, 38, of 98 Stella Avenue, Greenville, died Jan. 9, 2009 at North Greenville Hospital.

A native of Greenville County, son of Merle Brockman Dacus Blevins of Marietta, S.C., and the late John L. Dacus, he was an employee of Consilium 1 and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

Kay E. Tucker

Kay Elizabeth Pope Tucker, 64, died Jan. 10, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Dunlap Pope, and a member of Victor Baptist Church.

Pearl L. Henderson

Pearl L. Henderson, 93, died on Jan. 14, 2009. Born Jan. 26, 1915, she was a native and lifelong resident of Greer until her retirement to Bethea Baptist Retirement Center in 1999. At her death she was a resident at Laurel Gardens in Florence, SC.

Marcelle R. Hawkins

Marcelle Azalee Rollins Hawkins, 78, of 323 McElrath Road, Greer, died Jan. 14, 2009.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of Ossie Dill Rollins of Tryon, N.C. and the late Buford Rollins, she was a retired employee of Harris Teeter and a member or Apalache Baptist Church.

Lucious M. Gregory

Lucious Marion Gregory, 78, of 979 East Poinsett Street, Greer, died Jan. 17, 2009 at his home.

A native of Pickens County, son of the late Clarence and Eula Jane Arnold Gregory, he was a retired employee of Carotel Paperboard and of the Baptist faith.

Eunice G. Green

Eunice Glenn Green, 95, formerly of 1756 Abner Creek Road, Greer, widow of Clark Green, died Jan. 13, 2009 at Hospice of the Upstate.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Boyd and Lena Forrest Glenn, she was a retired employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing and a member of Woods Chapel United Methodist Church.

Brooks M. Cole

Brooks (Buddy) M. Cole, 67, of 5008 Edwards Road, Taylors, died Jan. 14, 2009 at his residence.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Richard Montgomery and Annie Lee Edwards Cole, he was a retired employee of Fluor Daniel Construction and a member of Praise Cathedral.
