Adair Brewton, Sr.

Oliver Adair Brewton, Sr., 88, husband of Audrey Wilkerson Brewton, went to be with the Lord May 25, 2018.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Clyde Earl and Geneva Edwards Brewton, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of Delta Mills and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.

Also surviving are two sons and wives, Adair Brewton (Ann), of Greenville, and Ron Brewton (Karen), of Greer; five grandchildren, Oliver Brewton (Jessica), Sarah Brewton, Mark Brewton (Cara), Bradley Brewton (Cathy) and Amanda Medlin (Marc); six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Ray Brewton, of Greer, Maurice Brewton, of Greenville, and Carol Brewton, of LaGrange, Georgia.

Mr. Brewton was predeceased by one brother, Dan Brewton.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018 Apalache Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Butch Howard and Rev. Jerry Bryant.  Burial followed in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation was held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church.

The family is at the home of his son, Ron Brewton, 12 Lauren Leigh Court, Greer, SC 29651.
